Remembering our Past
When Fred Kendel put down his hammer and retired from Kendel Construction after 30 successful years of business, he closed a business that was founded on pride of craftsmanship and a solid work ethic. Fred and his partner Blake Nisbet had built and renovated many homes in Corunna, Mooretown and on Stag Island. He was self-taught in his trade and well known for quality finish craftsmanship, as well as a love for oak.
A New Vision
Fast forward to 2020, and his eldest granddaughter Karis, and her husband Ryan are reviving Fred’s legacy starting with their newest development of “The Nests” in Corunna. Kendel Homes will carry on with customer satisfaction that would make Fred Kendel proud. Each home will be built with quality craftsmanship that will stand the test of time. Our building style is old-time quality with a modernized, timeless design.

Ryan brings with him 15 years of Real Estate experience with ReMax Sarnia, the #1 brokerage in Sarnia-Lambton. He has consistently ranked among the top producers at ReMax Sarnia. His commitment to helping buyers find their perfect home has been paramount in his successful career. After touring 100’s of homes and dealing with buyers in various stages of life, Ryan will take these experiences and utilize them to pick only the best floor plans and finishes to deliver a quality product to future homeowners.
Karis has been an elementary school teacher for the past 15 years. She has learned that relationships and communication are the keys to successful customer service. She has been involved in the design process for their personal and rental properties and is looking forward to bringing this knowledge to Kendel Homes. This will mean stylish homes, on budget for the owners of the Nests. She will be utilizing a state of the art building program to pick finishes and communicate with customers throughout the build process so you can feel confident in your design decisions.
